Our Fermented Red Kratom comes from the same trees that our Red Vein is harvested from. The difference is what happens after they are harvested. Fermented kratom is washed and stacked inside special clear bags and left in the sun for 24-72 hours. During this time beneficial microbes break down the cell walls of the leaf and ferment it slightly (think sauerkraut, pickles, kimchi) altering the bioavailability of the alkaloids and changing the ratios of active constituents (those feel good chemicals). This results in our slowest, heaviest, and highly relieving Red Ferment Strain.*
